I am now one week away from taking step 2, feeling less than satisfied with my studying progress so far. Each day like a monotonous drone I stare at the computer for 6-10 hours doing question after question after question... Certain things have been particular barriers that hinder studying, including:
1. Studying at home and sometimes realizing that the bed is right there... behind me... so soft and comfy.
2. Cabin fever, even after only 3 days at home...
3. Sometimes getting the feeling that I should be reading more, but realizing that I only have enough time to do questions. I guess it's a poorly constructed defense mechanism called shutting down :(
4. Renal Tubular Acidoses. No explanation needed. I will forever loathe all three, types I, II and IV because I can never remember them. Also reason #3 that I will probably not go into nephrology.
5. Worrying about my upcoming move, and how I will successfully pack away 3 years of living here into a tiny uhaul in 24-30 hours...
